Trump ska bygga slagskepp

U.S. Navy, den amerikanska flottan, ska få slagskepp i en helt ny klass – Trump-klass, de snabbaste, de största hittills och 100 gånger kraftfullare än något slagskepp som någonsin byggts.
    President Trump har tillkännagett byggandet av slagskepp för Golden Fleet för den amerikanska flottan vid en pressträff:

America’s next battleship, the USS Defiant, will be part of a new class of large surface combatants with the most destructive fire power of any surface ship to ever sail – having the ability to strike an adversary at 80x the range of the previous class. The Trump-class Battleship will be the first-ever guided missile battleship with the ability to deploy with nuclear and hypersonic missiles.

Slagskeppen kommer att vara tillverkade av stål och väga mellan 30 000 och 40 000 ton och vara 255–270 meter långa. De kommer att vara utrustade med vapen och robotar så väl som hypersoniska vapen och kraftfulla lasrar.
